Amitabh Bachan in kollywood ……

October 31, 2008

It is heard that Soundarya Rajinikanth, who owns Ocher Studios, is very eager to work with Amitabh Bachchan and also that Rajinikanth had a discussion with the Big B a month ago in this regard. Apparently, following the discussion, Amitabh Bachchan had agreed to meet Soundarya and hold discussions, but unfortunately he fell sick and no meeting could place. But the surmise is that he will meet her after recuperating from his illness; Big B suffered colitis and a blockage in his large intestine, but has almost recovered.

Well, this is not the first time that Kollywood is trying to include Big B in its films. While director Shankar and Rajinikanth were involved in the brainstorming sessions for Sivaji, they both decided to include Amitabh Bachchan in the film and even approached the stalwart, who was unable to accept due to his other projects and commitments, but the star had promised he would definitely make it in future.

Amitabh and Rajni are old friends and have acted together in a couple of Hindi films – Hum and Giraftaar (also had Kamal Haasan).

Angelina’s Next adoption

October 30, 2008

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt already have six children, but that’s not stopping the couple from looking ahead to another addition to the family. During an interview this Thursday morning on NBC’s “Today” show, the actress said she and Brad are considering adopting another child.

When asked “Soon?” she nodded, confirming his question. Angelina attempted to skirt further questions about the possible adoption, but noted, “You can’t even start the process until any new children are six months old, to understand how the new family has settled.”

As for the oldest member of the Jolie-Pitt brood, Angelina said six-year-old son Maddox is “the professional big brother” of the family because “he’s done it so many times.” Angelina went on to note that due to her children’s ages, adding new members to the family is an easy adjustment.

“We have so many children that they’re not really stunned anymore when kids come home,” she told Matt. “They’re all at that great age that they are not threatened. They’re independent. They don’t need Mommy and Daddy all the time.” Not only are new people a breeze for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shilo, Vivienne and Knox, but new places are also a joy, according to the actress.

“So far, we’ve moved them a lot, and they like moving,” Angelina said when asked if they would continue to move around the globe.

Angelina may enjoy life on the go, but she did note a constant she needs in her life — partner Brad. “I met the right person,” she said of the 44-year-old actor. “I don’t like being without him.”

Will Smith

October 29, 2008

Tickets to see high school football games at Oaks Christian School in Westlake, California, have become a hot item thanks to the team’s new recruit – Will Smith’s son Trey.Trey, 13, is Smith’s son from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino which ended in 1995. The actor is now married to Jada Pinkett Smith. The teenager joins a star-studded team of rookies which also includes the offspring of American football legend Joe Montana and ice hockey great Wayne Gretzky.

The youngsters’ fathers and their celebrity friends are now expected to be fixtures at next season’s games, but the Lions players are used to the famous faces in the stands.Team star Chris Coyle says, “Last year Will Smith was out there with Tom Cruise.”We got a little distracted before games and then we just didn’t let that get to us.”It’s cool that they’re out there but we’ve got to focus on football.”Coach Bill Redell insists its a pleasure to have the kids of celebrities on his team, admitting his starry trio are perfect students and players. He says, “They’re great role models and, if you have a daughter, you’d want her to date these kids”.

Michael Jackson Comeback….?

October 29, 2008

Recording a new album? Check. Planning a tour? Check. Finally willing to walk around in public without a mask? .

Clearly the rumors must be true; Michael Jackson is plotting a comeback.

While the internet was buzzing about a stint in Las Vegas, it turns out he’s just recording his album in Sin City. Instead, the UK Sun reports that Jackson is supposedly meeting with music big wigs in Los Angeles to discuss a 30-day tour.

“Michael said he wasn’t doing a Vegas residency but was going on a world tour, taking in 30 cities next year,” one follower told the Sun. “He said he wanted to do it for his kids. He wants them to see what he does, and he wants to take them on the road.”

This will be Prince Michael, Prince Michael II and Paris’ first chance to see their dad on tour – Jackson hasn’t toured since 1996.

While in Los Angeles this week Jackson even left his mask at home and smiled and waved at the paparazzi while out shopping.

All in all, this could mean the King of Pop is ready to reclaim his throne after being cleared of sex abuse charges just a few years ago…

Jessica Alba In Bondage

October 29, 2008

Jessica Alba in bondage? When it comes to voting, I guess she means business. Jessica Alba joined the Declare Yourself Campaign, which is a non-profit organization that encourages young people to vote. Jessica’s public service announcement for Declare Yourself is definitely screaming for attention. In the S&M inspired ad Jessica is crying with shiny black electrical tape covering her mouth and naked body, while the message reads:“Only you can silence yourself. Make them hear you. Register to vote now…”

Jessica told people magazine,“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically. People respond to things that are shocking. If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

In 2004 Christina Aguilera also took photos for the Declare Yourself Campaign, but hers were much tamer, featuring Christina’s lips sewn shut with the same message across the billboard. Mark Liddell photographed Jessica Alba for the ads last month in Los Angeles. The Declare Yourself Campaign was launched in 2004 with Christina Aguilera and Jonathan Bennett. The thing that perplexes me about Jessica is her need to always bee sexy, yet says she doesn’t want to attract attention to herself for that reason. Just about everything she takes pictures for has an underlying message of sexiness.

Fergie To Launch Own Jewelry Line

October 29, 2008

Fergie has been out of the limelight for some time now. I’ve heard she’s busy with some concerts in UK and some business issues.Looks like, the girl is planning to launch her own jewelry line! She recently launched her signature Kipling bag line.“I’ll take it step by step, day by day because I don’t want to swamp myself,” she says.I think it’s pretty trendy and the colors are so stark! Fergie might wanna make a statement with her bags… more than her songs.

Talking about her music career, Fergie just recorded the theme song of the new Sex & The City movie. I heard, she earlier refused to do the job until the director let her have a sneek-peak at the movie! We didn’t know she’s that great at bargaining!

Director Michael Patrick King reveals, “When we first approached Fergie, her music company said she’s really, really busy and then she said very bargainy, ‘Let me see the movie!’ “So we had a private bootleg screening for Fergie… and then recorded it almost immediately.”Fergie has also been touring UK past week, and looks like her ass got more attention than her music, over there!
