Sush yet to get her due: David Dhawan

September 16, 2009

Sushmita Sen is a highly talented actress who has been underestimated by the film industry, says director David Dhawan dismissing reports of the two falling out.

Dhawan, who gave Sen her first commercial hit with Biwi No 1 in 1999 says that the actress has constantly been underestimated by filmmakers, who have failed to exploit her potential.

“Sushmita is a highly talented actress. But she has been underestimated and not used properly. She has still not got her due in the industry.”

“Sushmita is a great person to work with, full of warmth and joy. I actually have to thank her for doing the film because her role is not a very exciting one. I just asked her to do it and she replied ‘David, I can’t say no to you’,” said the director who is coming back to his favourite topic of marriage with the film which stars none other than his “lucky mascot”, Govinda.

Do Knot Disturb, a humorous take on marriage and infidelity, reunites the famed comic duo of Dhawan and Govinda, which has never failed to set the cash registers ringing.

Keanu Reeves has agreed to undergo a DNA test

September 4, 2009

Matrix star Keanu Reeves has agreed to undergo a DNA test after a woman claimed he’s the father of her four grown-up children.

Karen Sala, who is seeking millions in spousal and child support from the ‘Speed’ actor, filed suit against Reeves in May this year, seeking a paternity test to prove he fathered her offspring, who are all now in their mid-20s.

The actor denied he had a relationship with the Sala, and was seeking a court dismissal over the claims.

But Reeves has now finally given in to her demands to officially verify whether he is the father by undergoing a DNA test during the next few weeks.
